This is a very simple drink that anyone can make at home and while making this chocolaty drink, your kitchen will fill with a delicious scent that will soothe the soul.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Allpa Organic Peruvian Cacao Powder
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 ½ cups milk (any fat content but preferably whole)
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of half & half
Making Creamy Hot Cocoa
Step 1: Prep the Cocoa
In a medium saucepan pour the cacao powder along with the sugar and water over medium heat.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer. Be careful not to burn the mixture.
Step 2: Add milk
- Now add the milk ,half & half and vanilla extract to the saucepan and heat without boiling. Then remove from heat.
Step 3: Serve it up!
- Pour the drink into 4 mugs and serve immediately
